4/10/23 – Good evening. This is a note to let everyone know I’m making some changes in my research and reporting. First, I’ve decided to stop tracking and reporting the daily Covid numbers on Worldometer. Second, I’ll not be including earthquake activity on a regular basis. If something big happens, I’ll report on it. Also, I’ll be making the shows shorter going forward. My main focus will be methane, sea ice and various climate items.

I feel these changes will help me as my energy is not what it used to be. Thank you all for being here and believing in me and supporting my work. I appreciate you very much!

Love,
Margo

4/21/23 – EARTH-DIRECTED EXPLOSION ON THE SUN:

A magnetic filament snaking across the sun’s southern hemisphere erupted today, hurling a CME toward Earth. This movie from NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory shows the explosion’s extreme ultraviolet glow: The CME will probably reach Earth on April 24th. G1 to G2-class geomagnetic storms are possible when it arrives. A refined forecast will become available this weekend when NOAA forecasters finish modeling the CME.

4/27/23 – More than 19,000 previously unknown undersea volcanoes revealed by satellite data

“The ocean floor, like dry land masses, features a wide variety of terrain. And as with dry land, features that truly stand out are mountains — in the ocean they are called seamounts. And as on land, they can be created by tectonic plates pushing against one another, or by volcanos erupting. Currently, just one-fourth of the sea floor has been mapped, which means that no one knows how many seamounts exist, or where they might be.”
